Main Du: 2 mile run/walk ~ 12 mile bike ~ 2 mile run/walk
Mini Du: ½ mile run/walk ~ 6.5 mile bike ~ 2 mile run/walk

RUN COURSE FOR MAIN DU: The 2 mile run course is an out-and-back route on the bike path, some of which now also has a dirt path on the side, around Aurora Reservoir. The run leaves the upper parking lot and travels to a turn-around point, then returns via a similar route taking the path past the Picnic Pavillions and up to the transition area to finish the first run. The second run leaves the transition area where you came in from the first run and takes the same path and course as the first run then returns to finish just before the Picnic Pavillions.
RUN COURSE FOR MINI DU: The first run is an out-and back route on the bike path around Aurora Reservoir. The run leaves the upper parking lot and travels to a turn-around point, then returns via the same route taking the path past the Picnic Pavillions and up to the transition area. The second run is the same as the second run for the Main Du.
BIKE COURSE FOR MAIN DU: The bike course is rolling hills paved route which goes through the Aurora reservoir, from the upper parking lot, taking a right at the road to the scuba beach, where there is a turnaround, then right down the road that exits the Aurora reservoir, then right on Quincy for about 1 mile to the Entrance to the Youth Facility “Ridgeview Road”, you will go left on Ridgeview Road to a round about turn at the Youth Facility, then back to Quincy, right on Quincy to Powhaton Road (entrance to the reservoir), left on Powhaton Road back to the transition area.
BIKE COURSE FOR MINI DU: The bike course is rolling hills paved route which goes through the Aurora Reservoir ONLY. This bike course does not go onto Quincy Avenue. The course is the same as the course listed above, except at the intersection of Quincy Avenue and Powhaton Road (main road through Aurora Reservoir), instead of turning right on Quincy, you will turn around and ride back to the Transition Area.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL ROADS ARE OPEN TO TRAFFIC. We will have a dedicated sheriff’s deputy on a motorcycle cruising the course just for your safety (as well as officers with cars and lights flashing at every intersection). The roads will be swept by a street sweeper a few days before the race.
