For almost 25 years, Girls Incorporated of Metro Denver has been dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold™.

We provide innovative educational programs to girls ages 6 to 18 designed to help them build on their potential and achieve successful, independent, and fulfilling lives.

Girls Inc. of Metro Denver offers programs on a daily, year-round basis. No other youth agency in Denver offers such comprehensive programming designed specifically for girls.

We are an affiliate of the national Girls Incorporated organization which is headquartered in New York City, with its National Resource Center in Indianapolis.

Girls Inc. of Metro Denver utilizes award-winning local and national programs, which strive to build self-esteem and confidence, foster creativity, and promote critical thinking skills.

Our nationally-developed programs are the result of studies conducted by the Girls Incorporated National Resource Center – the largest and most comprehensive research center on girls in the country. We regularly evaluate the programs we offer to ensure that each one meets the unique needs of our girls.

Our Youth Center Programs focus on serving girls ages 6 to 12 at our Center on West Colfax with comprehensive after-school and summer day camp programs. These programs provide a safe place for girls where they are given tools to express themselves with originality and enthusiasm, accept who they are, take healthy risks, and strive to be responsible and self-sufficient community members.

Our Teen Programs focus on serving girls at our Teen Center on West Colfax as well as in partnership with schools and other community groups. These programs focus on life skills, community service, leadership, and other key issues for girls and provide participants with effective tools to succeed.

Our Outreach Programs deliver Girls Inc. curriculum year-round to schools and community groups across the entire Metro Denver area. They allow us to bring the benefits of Girls Incorporated’s tested and effective programming aimed at preventing teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, avoiding substance abuse, building self-defense skills, preventing violence, creating positive body image, and developing leadership skills to girls through classes and customized workshops.
